What we write about
We don't run this blog for the sake of a news feed, but to work through what we run into ourselves and what people ask us about during rollouts. That's why the pieces are long and specific: how much time a stage eats, where the process breaks, what helped and what didn't.
The main themes are hiring automation and AI interviews: how initial screening works, how a structured interview differs from a free-form chat, how to compare candidates when there are hundreds of them, and what to do about resumes increasingly written by a neural network. Alongside that come breakdowns of recruiting mistakes and practices for HR teams: the funnel, response times, and how much managers should sit in on interviews.
A separate layer is working with people inside the company: corporate culture, motivation, loyalty and why HR usually has no time left for any of it. That's the part we take the interview routine off their hands for.
The articles are written by the Headsync team — engineers and HR practitioners — not by outside copywriters. We try not to retell other people's research without a source, and we're explicit about where we cite independent experiments and where we share our own experience. Every article carries a publication date: if a piece was rewritten, the updated date changes along with the text.
If you'd like us to look at your case or want to suggest a topic, write to us — we reply within one business day.
